Color Armenia collects as little as possible about children, asks parents for permission, and never sells it.

Color Armenia is a coloring app that helps children explore Armenian art, language and culture. It is operated by Armine Shirinyan, doing business as Color Armenia. This page explains our children's privacy practices; our full Privacy Policycovers everyone else who uses our services.

This policy explains how we handle information about children under 13 in four places:

1. The Color Armenia app, where children color pages.
2. Our name list on colorarmenia.com, where parents can ask for their child's name to become a coloring page.
3. Name of the Week, our Instagram activity where parents submit their child's colored artwork through our consent form.
4. Our Instagram account (@colorarmenia), including automatic messages that send links.

All of these are meant for parents and guardians to use. Children should not fill out our forms or message us themselves.

Most of what we collect comes from parents, and we collect only what each activity needs.

We never ask for a child's last name, birthday, school, location, or photos of a child's face. In the app, we ask only for an optional nickname and an age range. The app shows no ads, uses no third-party analytics or tracking, and has no way for children to post publicly or contact other users. Purchases, sharing artwork outside the app and contacting us all require the Parent PIN.

Our website, colorarmenia.com, uses cookies to measure website traffic. These cookies are not used for advertising and are not part of the app. You can block or delete them in your browser settings.

If we learn that a child sent us information without a parent's permission, we will delete it.

We use this information only to run the activities described above. In the app, account and profile information is used to save artwork, keep the Parent Hub secure, manage subscriptions and ship merchandise. For our other activities:

• Child's first name (name list): to decide which Armenian names to design as coloring pages, and to tell you when your child's name page is ready.
• Parent's email: to confirm your submission, send you a copy of your permissions, and tell you about the launch and new Name of the Week activities. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Artwork photo: to create a new coloring page in the Color Armenia app and, only if you allow it, to share the artwork on our Instagram, emails or website.
• Hands-coloring photos or videos: only for Instagram posts you have allowed.
• Signature, date and sharing choices: as our record of your permission.

Coloring pages in the app never include a child's name, photo or credit. A Name of the Week page shows the name being celebrated (for example, "Mila"), not any particular child.

We never post a child's last name, school, age or location, and we never tag a child's own account. We do not sell children's information or use it for advertising.

We share information only with the services that help us run Color Armenia, and in public only as you choose.

These services may use the information only to provide their service to us. We will ask for your permission again before sharing your child's information with anyone else, unless the law requires us to share it.

We ask a parent or legal guardian for permission before we collect or use any child's artwork. In the app, a parent creates the account and sets a Parent PIN, and purchases, sharing artwork outside the app and contacting us all require that PIN.

• Name of the Week: a parent completes our consent form, confirms they are the child's parent or guardian, chooses how the artwork may be shared, and signs. We do not use or post artwork without a completed form.
• Separate choices: permission to turn artwork into an app coloring page and permission to post on social media are separate. A parent can allow the app page and say no to social media.
• No extra information required: a child can take part without the parent giving more information than the activity needs. The Instagram username is optional.
• Posting and tagging: tagging @colorarmenia on Instagram is not permission. If someone tags us without a consent form, we send them the form first and do not repost until it is complete.

We keep children's information only as long as we need it for the activity, then delete it.

If you withdraw permission, we remove Instagram posts within 7 days and remove app content in the next app update. We then delete your child's information, keeping only a note that you withdrew permission and when.

We keep a written security program and review it at least once a year. It includes:

• Two-step verification on every account that holds children's information (Jotform, Google, GoDaddy, ManyChat, Instagram, email).
• Access limited to Color Armenia's founder; no one else can see submissions unless they need to and agree to protect them.
• Using only service providers that commit to keeping information secure.
• Deleting information on the schedule above, so we hold as little as possible.

At any time, you can ask us to:

• Review the information we hold about your child.
• Change your sharing choices.
• Delete your child's information.
• Stop collecting or using your child's information from now on.

For the app, use Settings in the app (behind the Parent PIN) or our privacy settings page.  For everything else, email support@colorarmenia.com from the address you used on the form, and tell us your child's first name and which Name of the Week they joined. We may ask a question to confirm you are the parent before sharing or deleting anything. We will respond within 10 business days.

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change affects how we use information we already have about your child, we will email you and ask for your permission first.
